Have you ever met any celebrities? Any interesting stories?

Joss Whedon. If I remember correctly, he was creeped out because Sabina kinda reminded him of his wife and I kinda reminded him of his brother. He wanted us to stop being so cuddly with each other.
What song makes you rock the karaoke mic?
Submitted by Ann.
Daydream Believer by The Monkees.
But really, I think I've only ever sung three karaoke songs. The others were Sk8r Boi by Avril Lavigne and a horrendous rendition of some Bon Jovi tune. It was so bad I can't even remember what song I butchered.
What are 5 things you'd like to accomplish in the next 5 years?
Write + draw another graphic novel or comic series of my own.
Design + sell a bunch of t-shirts.
Create + sell a run of my own toys.
Get out of debt and actually have something I believe is called "savings".
Get a bigger apartment so Sabina and I have more space to make things.
What's your middle name? Is there a story or history behind it?
Montgomery. It was my Irish grandmother's maiden name. It's also my father's middle name and he's gone by the name Monty since he was young.
What movie would you really recommend renting or seeing this weekend?
Brick -- written & directed by Rian Johnson, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It's a great movie that mashes a Dashiell Hammett styled detective story with modern high school characters. It can be a little tricky to follow all the crime noir lingo but there are so many excellent moments that make up for that. It recently hit DVD and is well worth your money.

What's your morning beverage of choice? Coffee, tea, juice? Homemade or store-bought?
President's Choice mint green tea.
Sometimes Sobe "juice" -- Blueberry & Blackberry Brew or Strawberry Banana flavoured Lizard Fuel.
Thrilling, isn't it?
What is your favorite cover song?
Question submitted by Ray.
Seasons In The Sun by Me First & The Gimme Gimmes.
I always found the 70's hit by Terry Jacks to be amusingly ridiculous. Even moreso because Jacks lives in my hometown. The Gimme Gimmes roughed it up, gave it some energy and made it much more listenable. Still ridiculous, but enjoyably so.
What's your favorite drink or cocktail? What's in it?

Crown Royal and ginger ale.
Wikipedia informs me that the tradition of Crown Royal deluxe Canadian whisky began in 1939 with the first Royal Tour of Canada by reigning British monarchs, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. To mark this historic occasion, Samuel Bronfman, President of the Seagram Company, decided to create a quality whisky to be packaged in a crown-shaped bottle and dressed in a distinctive royal purple bag.
And I usually drink Canada Dry ginger ale. While currently owned by a British company, "Canada Dry Pale Ginger Ale" was invented in 1904 by Canadian pharmacist John J. McLaughlin. Wikipedia also informs me that Canada Dry's popularity as a mixer began during Prohibition, when its flavor helped mask the taste of homemade liquor.
